Removal
   
•
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
   
•
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
•
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
•
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the console upper cover assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly")
3.
Remove the rear parking assist switch from the floor console upper cover after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation
1.
Install the front/rear parking assist switch.
2.
Install the floor console upper cover.
3.
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
   
•
Make sure that the connectors are plugged in properly.
•
Check the PDW system for normal operation.
