Hyundai Ioniq: Front Bumper / Radiator Grill. Repair procedures
•
| Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. |
|
•
| When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. |
•
| Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface. |
•
| Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels. |
|
1. | Remove the front bumper cover. (Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Cover") |
2. | Remove the fixing clip (A) and then the front bumper energy absorber (B). 
|
3. | Separate the front bumper wiring (A). 

|
4. | After loosening the mounting screws, remove the radiator grill upper cover (A). 
|
5. | After loosening the mounting screws, remove the radiator upper garmish (A). 
|
6. | After loosening the mounting screws, remove the radiator grill (A). 

|
7. | Remove the active air flap (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Active Air Flap") |
8. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. •
| Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers). |

Battery saver function
The purpose of this feature is to prevent the battery from being discharged.
The system automatically turns off the parking lamp when the driver turns the vehicle
off and opens the driver-side door.
With this feature, the parking lamps will turn off automatically if the driver
parks on the side of road at night...

Adjust the steering wheel so it points toward your chest, not toward your face.
Make sure you can see the instrument cluster warning lights and gauges. After adjusting,
push the steering wheel both up and down to be certain it is locked in position.
Always adjust the position of the steering wheel before driving.
