Air Cleaner Assembly
1. | Disconnect the battery negative terminal. |
2. | Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly. Tightening torque : Hose clamp : 2.9 - 4.9 N.m (0.3 - 0.5 kgf.m, 2.2 - 3.6 lb-ft) Air cleaner assembly bolts : 3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft) |
(1) | Remove the air duct (A). Tightening torque : 3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft) |

(2) | Disconnect the air intake hose (B). |
(3) | Disconnect the breather hose (C). |
(4) | Disconnect the air flow sensor (MAFS) and intake air temperature sensor (IATS) connector (D). |
(5) | Remove the air cleaner assembly (E). |
|
3. | Install in the reverse order of removal. |
Air Cleaner Element Replacement
1. | Remove the clamp and open the air cleaner cover (A). |
2. | Replace the air cleaner element (A) with a new one. •
| If there is any foreign substance inside the air cleaner assembly, clean the inside and replace the air cleaner element. |

3. | Close the air cleaner cover and engage the clamp. •
| When mounting an air cleaner cover, inspect the rubber seal (A) on the air cleaner cover and replace it if there is crack, tear, or wear on it. |

Other information:
Removal1.Disconnect the brake fluid level switch connector, and remove the reservoir cap.2.Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.

Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle, it may damage the paint; if brake fluid does contact the paint, wash it off immediately with water...
