| Driver Air Bag (DAB) DAB is installed in the steering wheel, and electrically connected to the SRSCM via clock spring. It is deployed during frontal impact to protect the driver. |

| Clock Spring Clock spring delivers actuation signal, generated by the sensors installed in the front and right/left sides of a vehicle, to the inflator (gas generator) of the driver air bag module via internal cable. It also delivers actuation signal of the steering wheel remote control switch and horn to relevant systems via internal cable. |

| Never attempt to measure the circuit resistance of the airbag module (squib) even if you are using the specified tester. If the circuit resistance is measured with a tester, accidental airbag deployment will result in serious personal injury. |

Driver's and passenger's front air bags
Your vehicle is equipped with a Advanced Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)
and lap/shoulder belts at both the driver and passenger seating positions.
The SRS consists of air bags which are located in the center of the steering
wheel, in the driver's side lower crash pad below the steering wheel column and
the passenger's side front panel pad above the glove box...
Removal1.Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.2.Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from the rear hub. Tightening torque : 107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire (A)...

Make sure you can see the instrument cluster warning lights and gauges. After adjusting,
push the steering wheel both up and down to be certain it is locked in position.
Always adjust the position of the steering wheel before driving.
