Hyundai Ioniq: Heater Hose Pump / Repair procedures
1. | Remove the battery (-) terminal. |
2. | Remove the engine room under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover") |
3. | Remove the heater hose (A) and AEWP hose (B). |
4. | Disconnect the lock pin to remove the heater hose pump connector (A). |
5. | Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the AEWP (A). Tightening torque : 18.6 - 21.6 N.m (1.9 - 2.2 kgf.m, 13.7 - 15.9 Ib-ft) |

6. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. •
| During key off with the cooling water at high temperature, up to 40 seconds of AEWP noise is normal. |

If your engine coolant temperature gauge indicates overheating, you experience
a loss of power, or hear loud pinging or knocking, the engine may be overheating.

1. Turn ON the hazard warning flasher, pull off the road and stop as soon as
it is safe to do so...
