Hyundai Ioniq: Crankcase Emission Control System / Repair procedures
1. | After disconnecting the vapor hose from the PCV valve, remove the PCV valve. |
2. | Reconnect the PCV valve to the vapor hose. |
3. | Run the engine at idle, then put a finger over the open end of the PCV valve and make sure that intake manifold vacuum can be felt. •
| The plunger inside the PCV valve will move back and forth at vacuum. |

4. | If the vacuum is not felt inspect PCV operation, if operating correctly clean or replace the vapor hose. |
Other information:
Removal1.Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.2.Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from the rear hub. Tightening torque : 107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire (A)...
Replacement
When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Recover the refrigerant with a recovery / recycling / charging station...
