Hyundai Ioniq: Airbag Module / Curtain Airbag (CAB) Module. Description and operation
Curtain airbags are installed inside the headliner (LH and RH) and protect the driver and passenger from danger when side crash occurs. The SRSCM determines deployment of curtain airbag by using side impact sensor (SIS) signal.

| Never attempt to measure the circuit resistance of the airbag module even if you are using the specified tester. If the circuit resistance is measured with a tester, accidental airbag deployment will result in serious personal injury. |

Removal 1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system disabled. Radar blocked
When the sensor cover is blocked with dirt, snow, or debris, the FCA system operation
may stop temporarily. If this occurs, a warning message will appear on the LCD display.
Remove any dirt, snow, or debris and clean the radar sensor cover before operating
the FCA system...
