Hyundai Ioniq: Rear Door / Rear Door Module. Repair procedures
1. | Remove the rear door window glass. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Window Glass") |
2. | Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle") |
3. | Loosen the rear door outside handle base mounting bolt (A). Tightening torque : 2.0 - 2.9 N.m (0.2 - 0.3 kgf.m, 1.4 - 2.2 lb-ft) |

4. | Loosen the rear door latch mounting screws. Tightening torque : 6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.0 - 8.0 lb-ft) |

5. | After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear door module (A). Tightening torque : 8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft) |

6. | Remove the rear door latch assembly. (Refer to Front Door - "rear Door Latch") |
7. | Reomove the rear speaker . (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Speakers") |
8. | Remove the rear power window motor. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Power Window Motor") |
9. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. •
| Make sure connectors are connected properly and each rod is connected securely. |

| Make sure the door locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly. |

Other information:
Checking the Brake Fluid Level
Check the fluid level in the reservoir periodically. The fluid level should be
between MAX and MIN marks on the side of the reservoir.
Before removing the reservoir cap and adding brake fluid, clean the area around
the reservoir cap thoroughly to prevent brake fluid contamination...
